Wisconsin Jerseys Compete at World Dairy Expo

 

Wisconsin Jersey breeders earned high laurels at the International Jersey Show held in conjunction with World Dairy Expo in Madison in October.

In the junior show, Alleah Anderson of Cumberland exhibited the Reserve Senior and Reserve Grand Champion, Meadowridge Jackknife Summer (top photo). Summer topped the aged cow class to compete for the overall prize. Anderson also won the junior three-year-old class with her entry, Meadowridge Kasanova Sara.

Wildweed Primero Lightning, winner of the senior yearling class in the junior show, was named Reserve Junior Champion for Michael Moede of Algoma. She also topped the open class for her owners, Moede and Katie Ledvica.

In the open show, Milksource Gentry Marriott-ET (bottom photo), bred and owned by Milk Source Genetics of Kaukauna was tapped Junior Champion.
