Wisconsin Cow Produces 50,000-Pound Milk Record

K&K Impact Olga, owned by Jason Luttropp, Lost Elm Jerseys, Berlin, has become the second cow in breed history to produce a milk record in excess of 50,000 lbs. Her record of 52,080 lbs. milk, 1,964 lbs. fat and 1,788 lbs. protein, with a cheese yield equivalent of 5,622 lbs., in 365 days ranks second in breed history for milk and protein and sixth for cheese yield.
